Melt and Pour soap are easy to make, does need adult supervision. We bought the Melt-and-Pour soap, (1) melted it in a double boiler, (it can be melted in microwave as well), (2) added scent and color, (3)and finally poured in the molds. What I learnt form YT vids – don’t over heat the soap, use soft molds so it can be taken out easily, and make sure the soap has solidified completely before taking out.
These can be for personal use, or gifted, or sold. At least, a useful craft. They look pretty.
The picture shows the things we used: (1) Melt-and-pour soap, (2) soap dye, (3) scent, (4) container for melting, (5) Thermometer, (6)small scale for measuring the soap (7) soap molds, (8) stirrer
Weighing the soap, measuring the temperature, or selling it can be part of math curriculum.
